What To Do After Launch Day!
So Where Hope Begins is now out in the big wide world. Godspeed, my lovely. And yesterday was a little nuts. The nerves. The onslaught of notifications. The well wishes and fun comments, and feedback. All wonderful and totally mind blowing, not to mention a tad overwhelming. Oh and did I mention a Facebook LIVE chat – um, yeah, ok, I’ll even post all that awkwardness for you here, incase you missed it. It’s posted over on my Facebook Author Page. We talked about the new book, but there are no spoilers for those who haven’t read it yet, don’t worry.
A few things I’ve learned from readers thus far –
You need tissues. Lots. And. Lots. (Yes, I knew that).
Brock is everybody’s new #bookboyfriend (Yes, I figured that would happen).
More tissues necessary. (Yes. I know. I feel that).
This book is deeply moving and has the power to change lives. (Really a wonderful thing to hear, thank you).
This book cannot be read in public because of the ugly crying. (Yeah. Sorry).
Arrange for food and water to be brought in once you begin, you will not be moving. (What if you have to go to the loo?)
Anyway, all that to say THANK YOU to all my early readers, and my wonderful street team who are doing such an amazing job spreading the word about Where Hope Begins! All the reviews and interviews have been so much fun so far!
Just Commonly – Review and Interview
There are giveaways of the book on some of these, so be sure to check them out!
ALSO – Where Hope Begins is available on AUDIO! If audio books are your jam, check out the PREVIEW here!
As always, this whole book launch thing is just a little nerve wracking, but I’m so so grateful for all your wonderful support and encouragement! If you pick up a copy and like what you read, share it with friends! And leave reviews on GoodReads and Amazon and wherever you like! Even a few words will help! I’m so excited that this story is now out in the world, and I can’t wait to hear what you think!
And now I might go take a nap in the sun. 🙂
Happy Reading!
I know yesterday was hectic but oh the fun that begins as other readers start loving the book like we do. Thankful I got a chance to read Where Hope Begins!
This book completely moved me. What an amazing ability to captivate with such expressive language and depictions and it is so evident that everything written came from the heart. The characters became a part of me and many wee hours of the morning were spent devouring it with tears. Before I finished it I made sure to purchase two other books written by her and I am so looking forward to reading them. I live on the Island of Bermuda and never knew of her before. Thank you so much for this book, it has truly blessed my life and I so enjoyed the quotations at the beginning of each chapter. May God continue to bless you in using your marvellous talent.
Thank you so much, Sandra! Great to ‘meet’ a fellow Bermudian! I’m always happy to hear when readers here discover my books!
